Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has been leaving an imprint on the tiny screen. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for long and soon moved in Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of parts as an actor, including independent local commercials and films. Even though she had small roles, she soon realized that she was drawn to acting. Following her move from New York, in 2001 she was offered her first part as a performer for the television show All My Children. Through the early part of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast in her debut series role in The Mountain which was the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in the year 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was on the show for 85 episodes. Then she joined the shorter-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. This character was a hit and earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments further. She played Marisol Deko as the wife to David Caruso's Horatio. She was the character Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are a Italian father as well as one brother Cory, who is 10 years younger than her. Her family was very traditional and religious one. Milano's career began at age seven after her child's sitter brought her to an audition. With more than 1000 applicants, she was chosen as one of just four. Milano was featured on television in commercials and off Broadway productions, including the musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
